50

“Call is an invitation from God to an individual to become a part of His eternal plan.”[1] “A call is an invitation or summons by God to fulfil a mission or particular function. In the Bible call is often presented in the form of narrative.”[2] Call means vocation, call comes from God. The Hebrew verb “to call” is one of the frequently occurring words in the Old Testament. It is often closely associated with “election.” The call refers to a personal or collective summons by God.[3]
